Pair to face court today after grisly Glasshouse Mountains discovery

4bc news

Two men accused of murdering a woman and dumping her body in the Sunshine Coast hinterland are preparing to front court today.

Four-wheel-drivers discovered human remains on a remote track in the Glasshouse Mountains last month.

Police have since confirmed the remains are that of Caboolture grandmother Donna Howe.

The 57-year-old was last seen between late April and early May before her disappearance  was reported to police on June 5.

Just days after the body was discovered, detectives raided a Caboolture home and arrested two men, aged 41 and 31.

Both have been charged with murder and misconduct with a corpse.

It’s alleged Donna lived with the 31-year-old but police say they weren’t in a relationship.

The 41-year-old man was known to frequent the home.

The pair briefly appeared in court last month and were remanded in custody.
