New data has revealed that testing rates for Australia’s second most common cause of cancer death have plummeted.

Nearly two-thirds of Australians are refusing to do the free bowel cancer test that’s delivered to their front door, despite the fact that the condition kills 103 Australians each week.

Neil Breen said on Brisbane Live, “early detection bowel cancer and you’re fine, late detection and you are cactus jack, there is no coming back”.

Neil Breen urges all Australians over the age of 45 to “just do the test”.
