The NRL is heading back to Sin City in 2027, but the newly announced team matchups have thrown a massive bucket of ice over rugby league’s biggest international gamble.

The schedule has left experts and diehards scratching their heads over what should have been a monumental milestone for the sport.

“I would have thought if you’re taking Parramatta and the West Tigers to Vegas, you get them playing each other. So there’s a bit of animosity, build up to sort of game one in Las Vegas… It’s underwhelming,” Piggy told The Continuous Call Team.
