The NRL’s head of football Graham Annesley says the league is looking at an increased number of stoppages in games.

Peter Psaltis commented that the length of the game seemed to be stretching out, with more stoppages.

“We are, we had a good chat about this yesterday. And I think there’s a few factors that are playing into it,” Mr Annesley said on 4BC’s Wide World of Sports.

He says they are reviewing it and the league has noticed it to see if there’s something that can be tweaked to “speed things up”.
