The NRL concedes the match-officials missed a blatant knock-on from Penrith’s Viliame Kikau on Friday night.

The referee allowed play to continue which led to to a Panthers try against Parramatta.

Head of Football Graham Annesley admitted today it was the wrong decision.

Paul ‘Fatty’ Vautin, who joins Peter Psaltis each Monday night on 4BC’s Wide World of Sports, says he doesn’t get it.

“I’ve got no idea, I do have no idea [how it happened]” he said.

He say the bunker is getting involved far too much.

“Now it’s interfering in every single thing.”

He says the “game is being sanitised almost to a game of touch football”.
