NFL star Tom Brady retires again, insists it’s for good this time

4bc news

Tom Brady, the most successful quarterback in NFL history, has announced his retirement again.

The Tampa Bay captain posted the announcement on social media last night in a brief video.

“Good morning, guys. Ill get to the point right away,” he said. “I’m retiring. For good.”

While the Buccaneers made the payoffs again this season, they lost their playoff opener, causing many to question whether fans would see Brady play again.

Only a couple weeks later, he has confirmed that game was his last.

“I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning, I figured I’d just press record and let you guys know first,” he said.

“I won’t be long-winded. You only get one super emotional retirement essay and I used mine up last year.

“I really thank you guys so much, to every single one of you for supporting me. My family, my friends, teammates, my competitors. I could go on forever. There’s too many.

“Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn’t change a thing. Love you all.”

It’s the second time the quarterback, who won a record seven Super Bowls with the Patriots and Buccaneers, has retired.

He briefly retired following the 2021 season, but announced his return just six weeks later.
