Newly detected NSW infections put border bubble at risk
The Tweed and Byron have been re-added to the Queensland-NSW border bubble after coming out of lockdown.
It means residents are able to cross the border into Queensland for essential purposes such as work or accessing medical care.
But the bubble may only be temporary, as two new cases of coronavirus were recorded in Byron Bay and Kyogle.
Authorities say both of these people spent time in the community while infectious for several days.
