Neil Breen breaks down new integrity revelation

Neil Breen

A former State Archivist has given a scathing assessment of the Queensland government, calling for an independent inquiry.

Mike Summerell told the Courier Mail he was deprived of independence during his time in the role.

Neil Breen explained more on 4BC Breakfast and said it was “damning” in his view.

“What he is saying is, that senior public servants, hear no evil, see no evil, because if they did, they would be sidelined and the careers ruined.

“Basically the interests of the ministers and all of the government far outweigh the interests of us, the public.”
