The RACQ says today is the last day we can fill up the tank, before fuel prices skyrocket ahead of Easter.

Spokesperson Lauren Ritchie said motorists are expected to pay through the nose over the long weekend.

“$1.31 or less would be considered cheap, if you spot anything around that you should be filling up the tank because it will not last long.”
