More schools will re-open on Wednesday as the state begins the big clean-up following the flood disaster.

Yesterday there was confusion after some schools mistakenly believed they could re-open.

In a tweet today, Education Minister Grace Grace said more schools in SEQ would be able to open.

There are around 83 in SEQ still closed.

“Good news! The number of state schools that will remain closed tomorrow in SEQ is lower than we expected this morning. It will now be around 83 rather than around 150.”
