‘More of a statesman’: PM cops criticism over short Alice Springs visit

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has copped criticism for spending more time at the Australian Open in Melbourne than touring crime-plagued Alice Springs.
Neil Breen says he is more of a “statesman” than a details-driven Prime Minister.
“He went for three nights, now honestly that is leaving yourself way open for an attack, when there’s a crisis going on.”
Neil accused him of failing to step up.
