Mitchelton Football Club has come a long way since floodwaters decimated the fields and clubhouse during the February flood event.

Club president Gary Green says it’s all been cleaned up and he says they’re happy with how the grass fields have fared now.

“We’re hoping in two weeks time we will have all of the fields back up to a playable standard,” he told Peter Fegan.

He estimates the cost to the lighting upgrade will cost the club around $200,000.
