Maroons look to snare last game of Origin series

wide world of sports

Kurt Capewell says the Queensland side didn’t adjust well enough to the changes in the Blues side ahead of Origin II in Perth.

NSW bounced back to win Game II, sending the decider to Brisbane.

Capewell says they will be looking at the Blues’ line-up ahead of the decider next week.

He says they made changes to their team and style that the Maroons side didn’t adjust to.

“Obviously didn’t go to plan last time we played them, looking forward to getting the opportunity to rectify that and especially in front of our home fans,” he told Peter Psaltis in Warwick.

He says it’s “pretty special” to play an Origin decider at Suncorp Stadium.

“A packed Suncorp is unlike anything else … Suncorp just hits different, Origin in Queensland hits different too.”
