A man is recovering in hospital after he was allegedly stabbed in inner Brisbane.

Police will allege the 23-year-old had been arguing with a 39-year-old man when he was stabbed with an unknown object in the stomach in Spring Hill last night.

He was transported to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

The 39-year-old, who is known to the man, has been charged with wounding and assault occasioning bodily harm.
