A crime scene has been declared after a man was stabbed in Loganlea overnight.

Police believe at around 9.15pm a fight broke out in a Packett Crescent front yard, resulting in a man and woman receiving stab wounds.

The man was rushed to hospital in a critical condition, while the woman was also transported to hospital but in a stable condition with a wound to her leg.

Police are appealing for anyone with information or relevant dashcam vision to contact them.
