Man dies at quarry in search for missing Police Dog Quizz
A man has died while searching for missing Police Dog Quizz at Redbank Plains yesterday.
It’s believed the 61-year-old suffered a medical episode at a quarry site on Hallett Road.
Emergency services were called to attend at around 7pm but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Queensland Police Service has extended its condolences to the man’s family and friends.
“We urge the community to reconsider navigating the areas within the previous searches as they can be potentially dangerous and physically demanding,” a statement from police said.
“While the Queensland Police Service understands there are still members of our community conducting their own searches for our PD Quizz and we are grateful for the continued efforts, your safety and the safety of those around you is of paramount importance to us.”
