A West End man has been charged with attempted murder, accused of stabbing another and attacking a police officer. 

The 28-year-old allegedly stabbed a 35-year-old man in the chest and leg following an argument last night.

Police rendered first aid to the injured man before paramedics arrived and transported him to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The 28-year-old was arrested and taken to Dutton Park Police Station, where it’s further alleged he became uncooperative and headbutted an officer.

He’s been refused bail and will appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
