An 18-year-old man will front court today, accused of slashing a 16-year-old boy in the head at Bracken Ridge yesterday.

Police say the man got into an argument with the 16-year-old at around 2pm yesterday before the altercation turned violent.

It’s alleged the man armed himself with a knife and struck the boy, wounding his scalp.

He was arrested and charged with acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm.
