‘Make every inch of this count’: The push to bring the Brisbane Olympics to the regions

It may still be over a decade away but experts say now’s the time to start planning for the Brisbane 2032 Olympics.
The games are expected to generate unprecedented interest in the Sunshine State.
Demographer Bernard Salt says it’s up to organisers to capitalise on that popularity.
“Once you’ve got the right of passage, once you’ve secured it, which you have, then you want to make every inch of this count.
“I think what we should be doing with the Olympics is actually showcasing the state.”
