‘Hot, dry, long summer’ ahead: BoM issues El Niño alert

The Bureau of Meteorology has moved from El Niño watch to El Niño alert, with a 70 per cent chance of an El Niño developing this year.

Neil Breen said on 4BC Brisbane Live that there’s a “70 per cent chance of a hot, dry, long summer”.
