‘Life’s too short to have crook wine’: Langton’s wine tasting experience
Wine tourism is on the rise, yet only a lucky few will ever be fortunate enough to see all of the amazing wineries on offer around the country.
From the Barossa Valley, Margaret River, Yarra Valley – Australia really embraces a rich winemaking tradition.
“Life’s too short to have crook wine,” muses Chris Smith.
Australia’s leading wine marketplace, Langtons, is offering wine lovers a chance to taste over $15,000 worth of Australia’s prized wines at a special event.
“That’s part of what makes great wine. It’s sense of place, it’s story and where it’s grown,” Tamara Grischy from Langton Wines tells Chris.
“Great winemakers will tell you it’s about when not to do something is the art.”
The latest edition of the Langton’s Classification book is also due for release in September, containing the best, most collected and beloved Australian wines.
“It’s more credible than many other wine books,” says Chris.
