The Ray Hadley Morning Show has received calls from family members of veterans as Australia commemorates ANZAC Day.

There were 35,000 people who attended the dawn service at the Australian War Memorial in Canberra and more than 16,000 serving and ex-service men and women who participated in the annual ANZAC Day march in Sydney.

Listener Michael tells Ray Hadley his father fought in World War II.

“He was a Russian. Many Russians joined the British army in Shanghai.”
