The #MeToo movement took the world by storm when it began late last year.

The hashtag #MeToo went viral on social media to raise awareness about the prevalence of sexual harassment and assault, especially in the workplace.

These days, more and more people are coming forward with claims of sexual misconduct.

The movement has become so big, a global law firm is offering #MeToo packages – to educate organisations about how to protect businesses from sexual harassment cases.

Sally Woodward, Partner at Norton Rose Fulbright Australia, tells Deborah Knight #MeToo isn’t going away and companies need to be prepared.

“It’s not a trend, it’s not a blip, it’s not going away, so organisations need to be speaking about it.”

The packages give advice about proper policy, dealing with investigations and training employees about sexual harassment.

Ms Woodward says the packages also aim to stop harassment “from happening in the first place”.
