Laurel has found herself quite torn ahead of the 2023 NRL season, with both the Broncos and Dolphins vying for her membership.

She told Mark while she’s been a Broncos member for years, she’s always had a soft spot for Redcliffe in the local league.

“I’ve always been a fan, it’s just sort of waned over the years,” she said of the Bronx.

“I must admit, I’ve been looking for a team to get the passions behind again and it’s looking like it might be Redcliffe.”

But the Broncos aren’t taking their competition lying down, releasing a brand new campaign aimed at the Dolphins, claiming “this is a one-horse town”.

“Well, the Broncos can make as much noise as they want with commercials and all these emotive terms but there are two things they need to do to and it’s quite simple: win games, get to the finals,” Mark said.

“Those are the two things that will secure you a lot of people watching you.”
