Labor is planning to target Queensland voters in the leadup to the next federal election.

Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese has arrived in the state today and will visit a TAFE campus in Caboolture.

It follows a $600 million commitment to fund almost half a million TAFE places in targeted areas.

Mr Albanese told Spencer Howson Queenslanders are grappling with three key issues.

“I think jobs, secure work, the fact that people can’t get that secure, permanent work, the second is cost of living, and the third is just wages.

“The fact is our wages have been going backwards so I think people are really struggling.”
