Labor pressed on reluctance to hold inquiry into allegations of bullying

Anthony Albanese has been pressed about Labor’s reluctance to hold an inquiry into bullying allegations levelled at senior ALP members.
It comes in the wake of the death of Senator Kimberley Kitching, who died of a suspected heart attack.
There have been claims she was isolated and allegedly bullied by some colleagues.
But the Opposition Leader says there were no complaints made to him by the late Senator.
Shadow Minister for Women and Education, Tanya Plibersek, was asked about Labor’s stance on 4BC Drive.
“There’s no complaint, there’s no clear allegation here,” she told Scott Emerson.
“We have had a couple of things repeated here by Kimberley’s friends who are very, very upset.
“And my deepest sympathies are with them, I saw at the funeral on Monday when I attended how many people loved Kimberley so much and respected her.”
Scott Emerson says the allegations are “pretty serious”.
