Kyiv gains momentum as Russia suffers ‘major setback’ in Ukraine’s east

The Ukrainian President has declared the key eastern town of Lyman “fully” cleared of Russian forces in Kyiv’s most significant battlefield gain in weeks.
Monash University’s Marko Pavlyshyn said the city had been an important hub transport and logistics hub for Russia.
“This is a major setback for Russia and it appears the Ukrainians have momentum,” he told Laurel, Gary & Mark.
