The murder case of Gold Coast Dad, Matthew Berry has seen a breakthrough as the police take a man into custody.

On the 28th of June, Matthew Berry was murdered in his own home in Tamborine, Queensland.

Police have stated, a 36 year old man that a has been taken into custody and will stand before trial accused of murder.

“They were known to each other, they were friends,” police said.
