Former NSW Blues star Josh Morris believes Broncos fullback Reece Walsh has to be the Maroons Origin fullback.

Walsh was outstanding last night for the Broncos in their 32-6 demolition of Manly last night at magic Round at Suncorp Stadium.

With State of Origin selection not far away, Morris told The Continuous Call Team he’d back Walsh over incumbent fullback Kalyn Ponga.

“I think he has to be the QLD number one,” Morris said.

“I don’t think Kalyn’s playing well enough and there’s probably (questions) around his fitness.”
