Johnathan Thurston is on the Channel 9 commentary team for tonight’s game between the Sydney Roosters and the Parramatta Eels. 

“The roosters have showed some really good signs over the past couple of weeks,” Johnathan told Peter Psaltis.

Wiremu Greig who we first saw play with the North Queensland Cowboys has now replaced Junior Paulo as a prop for the Eels.

“He’s starting to make a name for himself at the Parramatta Eels,” said Johnathan.

J’maine Hopgood, who has come from the Panthers to the Eels, is also one to watch.

“He is small in stature but he has a big heart and no regard for his body,” said Johnothan.
