President of the United States Joe Biden has announced new military aid for Ukraine, after making an unannounced visit to the country on Monday.

The visit to Kyiv comes just days before the first anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Nine UK Correspondent Jess Millward told John Stanley that air raid sirens played across the capital as Biden walked alongside Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskiy.
