Australian cricketer Jimmy Peirson is set to join the Ashes squad, filling Josh Inglis’ spot.

The Queensland Bulls keeper Jimmy Peirson has been called in last-minute to be a part of the Ashes, which kicks off in June.

Peirson will be filling Josh Inglis’ shoes as a standby wicketkeeper, while Mr Inglis is heading home for the birth of a child.
