Jim Molan labels government’s ‘okay to be white’ excuse as ‘weak’

The government has admitted it made a mistake by endorsing a motion with references to a white supremacy slogan.

Coalition senators backed One Nation Leader Pauline Hanson’s motion declaring it’s “okay to be white”.

The motion also stated anti-white racism is on the rise.

But the government claims it didn’t intend to support it, blaming an “administrative error”.

Retired Major General and Liberal Senator Jim Molan tells Chris Smith it’s a “weak” excuse from his own government.

“It’s not our best day, to say the least.”

Senator Molan is also calling out the Greens and Labor for misconstruing the error.

“What I object to is that it’s being misrepresented because we made an error.

“The Greens have taken it, and Labor has taken it, sure for political purposes, I can understand it.

“But when they imply that we are all racist because of this, it’s a bit strange.”
