Cronulla Sharks forward Jayson Bukuya has announced his retirement from rugby league, effective immediately.

The Daily and Sunday Telegraph’s David Riccio revealed Bukuya will hang up the boots after 186 First Grade games for the Sharks and Warriors.

He was also a member of the Sharks 2016 premiership outfit.
