Industry Super Australia (ISA) is calling for nuclear power to be considered as a solution to Australia’s energy crisis.

ISA’s report insists nuclear energy should be included in the energy mix, despite the controversy surrounding it.

The study outlines super funds are ready to invest in energy infrastructure upon policy direction from the government.

ISA Chief Economist Stephen Anthony tells Ross Greenwood nuclear power should not be excluded.

“You would not say that nuclear is more expensive, or less expensive, than all the major competitors to nuclear and therefore it should be in the conversation.”
