The Queensland state government is planning to hire 17,000 more public servants

The Queensland State government has announced via budget leak, a plan to hire an extra 17,00 public servants. 

4BC Drive host Gary Hardgrave has weighed in on the announcement, saying he thought it was “April Fools Day” when he first saw the leaked plan.

“Australia already has more public servants per capita than any other country in the world.”
