The Australian business behind the famous backyard hills hoist clothesline has gone into administration.

The company went into administration on Friday, after losing a court case with one of it’s suppliers and needing to cough up $5.48M.

Neil Breen said on Brisbane Live that it’s sad news because the iconic clotheslines are “synonymous with Australia, even more synonymous with Queensland”.
