Queensland Rugby League CEO Ben Ikin has conceded he believes Maroons coach Billy Slater was “rattled” in the lead up to game two, following Aaron Woods’ comments labelling him a “grub”.

“I think he was rattled,” Ikin said.

“To me, he was close to tears in that last press conference or the second last press conference as it turns out, which means it got to him emotionally.”
