Motorists on the M1 can expect heavy delays this evening as Harry Styles fans head to the Gold Coast for his only Queensland gig.

Up 48,000 people are expected to pack Heritage Bank Stadium on the Gold Coast for tonight’s concert.

John is on the M1 and says it’s a long drive home.

“When I got on the M1 it was going to take me 1 hour and 15 minutes to go 40 kilometres.”

4BC traffic reporter Rhys Messenger advises there are 65 kilometres worth of delays.

Uber driver Alan told Neil Breen he’s been dropping off fans all day.

He said he picked up the first crew at around 8am.
