North Queensland Cowboys hooker Reece Robson says the club’s ‘spine’ is stronger than ever.

He said the players in those crucial positions, including Scott Drinkwater, Tom Dearden and Chad Townsend, are getting more comfortable with each other each week.

“We have been pretty lucky that sort of spine has stayed there for the majority of the year, we have been able to build on that, build combinations.

“That’s probably one luxury we haven’t had in previous years.”
