How Qld is ‘pulling together’ to tackle the housing crisis

Emergency housing at a Queensland university is still several months from opening. 

The state government in September revealed vacant student accommodation at Griffith University will be transformed into emergency, short-term housing.

Construction is underway but the facility isn’t expected to open until the middle of the year.

It’s expected to create accommodation for around 200 people.
