A man has died after being stabbed in the neck at Underwood in the early hours of this morning. 

Police were called to Fermont Road just after 1am on reports of a stabbing in the area.

When they arrived, they found the 20-year-old unresponsive. He couldn’t be revived.

The area has been declared a crime scene as investigations into the incident continue.

“There is something that could hold the key to this investigation at the moment,” Today reporter Andrea Crothers told Laurel, Gary & Mark. “That is a dark-coloured SUV.”

“Police are appealing to anyone who may have information about that, may have sighted that around this area on Fermont Road in Underwood overnight to get in contact with them.”
