Thousands of drivers have been caught using mobile phones behind the wheel in just one month. 

Mobile phone cameras are being trialled across the state as Queensland is on track to record its worst annual road toll in a decade.

Almost 6000 drivers were busted on their phones while driving since July 26, while a further 948 were caught without a seatbelt.
