Doctors at a local Greenslopes GP clinic have spoken out about the proposal for a McDonald’s next to the practice. 

The fast food restaurant is set to be built on the corner of Logan Road and Plimsoll Street in Greenslopes.

But there’s some local opposition to it, including the Greenslopes Family Practice.

Dr Anna McElrea says they are concerned about the noise of construction, the impacts of the drive-through as well as access to the clinic.

“We are just extremely concerned about the effects that it is going to have on our ability to provide care to our patients and to the Greenslopes community.”

They are also concerned about security for the practice, with a 24-hour drive-through.

She said it would also surround the GP clinic three sides.
