Government calls on Labor to reveal final costings
The federal government’s final costings show a $1 billion dollar improvement to the bottom line since the March budget.
Finance Minister Simon Birmingham has called on Labor to release their costings to reveal the debt Australians would face under an ALP government.
37 election promises at a cost of $2.3 billion have been submitted by the Coalition for independent assessment.
“This is about getting budget repair, delivering for Australians, showing sensible savings,” Mr Birmingham said.
Mr Albanese says he will release the cost of Labor’s policies on Thursday.
