Rugby League legend Mark Geyer believes Maroons skipper Daly Cherry-Evans deserves to keep his spot for State of Origin two, but must make a decision on his future prior to the game to avoid it being a distraction. 

“If I was Billy Slater, I’d be saying to him if you don’t have that resolved before next game, I won’t be picking you,” Geyer said.
