Anyone aged over 12 in Queensland is eligible to receive the Pfizer jab.

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the decision was made after the success of Queensland’s ‘Super Pfizer Weekend’.

“Walk-ins have been successful so far and with more supply, we want to make it as easy as possible for all Queenslanders to get vaccinated.

“We have a great window of opportunity to vaccinated as many Queenslanders as possible.”

Health Minister Yvette D’Ath added the state has plenty of vaccine supply it’s looking to take advantage of.
