Generous truckie hatches plan to help our farmers
A very generous truck driver has come up with a plan to help our drought-stricken farmers.
As farmers around the country continue to suffer through the worst drought in living memory, truckie Mike Williams has launched his own campaign to help.
He’s volunteering his time to drive water from Sydney to the bush.
Let’s do something constructive. I’m in. Who’s going to help me? Retweet this please. Let’s see what we can do. Let’s help our farmers. #aminutewithmick. @BenFordham @macsween_prue @chrissmithonair @AlanJones @TimShawTalks @BigRigsnews pic.twitter.com/tuw9eJH8aB

Mike tells Ben Fordham he’s determined to do his bit to help our farmers.
“I’ve started this thing called Caring for Our Farmers.
“We’re going to try and take some water out to our farmers.
“The plan is to raise enough money to buy some water.”
