‘Future made in China’ – Hastie accuses Labor of distorting the energy market
Andrew Hastie has accused the federal Albanese government of distorting the energy market by claiming renewables are cheaper than they actually are.
He’s told Michael McLaren that the projects are not economical and claims Chinese solar and wind is being imported into the country.
“What that means is that Labor’s industrial policy is not ‘Future Made in Australia’ as they like to say; it’s actually a ‘Future Made in China,’ and that makes us weaker as a country,” he said.
