A former taxi driver has been arrested and charged after allegedly sexually assaulting a 45-year-old woman.

Caitlin* and a male colleague rode home in a Black & White Cab last weekend, with the same driver as the 22-year-old whose mother spoke to Neil Breen on Wednesday.

The driver allegedly touched Caitlin inappropriately, under the guise of adjusting her seatbelt.

He has since been arrested and charged with one count of public nuisance, and one count of sexual assault.

The police have assembled a squad, and are reviewing the footage from the driver’s other trips.

They are also attempting to track the driver’s previous work history.
